Didcot War Memorial (click here for map)

Located in the Garden of Remembrance is a memorial to local residents who lost thier lives in either World War I or World War II.  The memorial is the focus of a service remembrance each year on Remembrance Sunday. 

The picture on the left shows some of the wreathes that were laid during a service of remembrance.

The Diamond Jubilee Garden (click here for map)

 

The Diamond Jubilee Garden was created in 2012 as part the Council's celebrations to mark the Diamond Jubilee of HM the Queen. 

The garden is located at the rear of the Civic Hall and makes the perfect backdrop for wedding or party photos.
