Information Centre Manager

Salary: £20,661 to £21,962 per annum pro rata

Hours: Part time - 18.5 hours per week from Wednesday to Friday

Temporary position, immediate start available

We are seeking to appoint to the role of Information Centre Manager in Didcot Town Council’s Information Centre.  The vacancy is part-time (18.5 hours) from Wednesday to Friday to include two full days, although there may be flexibility for the right candidate.  It is available on a fixed term basis until March 2019 and is a job share position.

To be successful you will need to be flexible to meet operational needs.  From time to time you may be asked to work on different days, occasionally in the evening or at the weekend.

You will be the first point of contact at the Council offices, dealing with face to face, telephone and email enquiries across a whole range of Council services. The role requires you to take responsibility for administering a number of the Council’s services to the community, including the allotments, Traffic Advisory Group, Allotment Liaison Group and taking bookings of Council land for events, as well as a number of important internal functions.

This is a great opportunity to join a fun team that enjoys serving the local community of our growing town.  The team is based inside Didcot Civic Hall which is on the corner of Broadway and Britwell Road.
