Councillor Mrs A Service also declared a personal and prejudicial interest in Minute 99 planning application P09/0531 11 Nunney Brook as this is her neighbour and this application is a joint development with her own.

RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting held on 10th June 2009 be approved and signed as a true and correct record.
Referring to Minute 72 Application SUT/12063/26-D, Erection of building for storage and distribution warehouse on land south of Sutton Courtenay Nature Reserve, Cllr Mrs E Hards asked if their had been any response following the request for further information about the exact location of the proposed building?
It was explained that to date nothing had been received from the Vale of White Horse District Council but that the Deputy Town Clerk would investigate this further.

102. CONSULTATION ON RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROVIDING ACCOMMODATION FOR GYPSIES, TRAVELLERS AND TRAVELLING SHOWPEOPLE IN THE SOUTH EAST
The recommended policy for providing accommodation for gypsies, travellers and travelling showpeople in the south east was emailed to members prior to the meeting and was available to view in the One Stop Shop.
It was explained that previously Didcot Town Council had been consulted when drawing up the policy and that now the Government Office for the South East were seeking views on the recommended policy. Previously the consultation was referred to the Major Issues Working Group.
RECOMMENDED that the recommended policy is referred to the Major Issues Working Group and that their comments are reported back to this committee on 12th August 2009.
It was noted that the deadline for comments was 1st September 2009 and that as there is no meeting of the Council in August this matter would have to be dealt with under Standing Order 36, the delegation of urgent and routine matters.
