75. VALE OF WHITE HORSE DISTRICT COUNCIL (VWHDC) COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT CONSULTATION
A letter was circulated detailing the VWHDC’s consultation on their Statement of Community Involvement with regard to their local Development Framework.
This consultation was NOTED.
76. OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL – REVIEW OF SUBSIDISED BUS SERVICES
Details were circulated of Oxfordshire County Council’s review of subsidised bus services. It was explained that members had been asked to feed back any information to the Deputy Town Clerk at the last Planning Meeting on 27th May 2009, Minute 39 refers. It was explained that the only bus service currently under review which served Didcot was route 36 which linked Wantage, East Hanney and Didcot.
RECOMMENDED that it is put to OCC that this service is extended so it serves the whole of Didcot.
RESOLVED that this item be dealt with under Standing Order 36, delegation of urgent and routine matters, as the deadline for responses is the 3rd July 2009 and the next meeting of the Council is the 13th July 2009.
