Members were reminded to declare any personal or prejudicial interests on any item on the agenda in accordance with the Council’s Code of Conduct.

Councillor Mrs S Crowther declared a personal and prejudicial interest in planning in Minute 71(h), the correspondence regarding a Tree Preservation Order No. 178/2008, as the tree in question borders her land.

66. MINUTES

It was noted that as stated at the meeting of the Council on the June 2008, the title of Minute 32 had been amended to read ELECTION OF VICE CHAIR 2008/2009 and that Minute 39(f) was amended to include the fact that it had been passed to the Major Issues Working Group.

RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting held on 21st May 2008 be approved and signed as a true and correct record.

70. RESPONSE TO OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL'S (OCC) CONSULTATION ON BUS STRATEGY

A report was circulated detailing a response to OCC's consultation on bus strategy put together by Councillor Mr P Hayward; the Town Council's Parish Transport Representative and is attached at appendix A.

RESOLVED that this response is adopted by the Town Council and submitted to OCC as part of the consultation.

Note: This matter was dealt with under Standing Order 36, delegation of urgent and routine matters, as the deadline for responses was before the next meeting of the Council.

The Committee thanked Councillor Mr P Hayward for the responsse that he had compiled on behalf of the Town Council.
