There was one nomination for Vice-Chair, Mrs A Service.

Upon being put to the vote it was:

RESOLVED that Councillor Mrs A Service be elected Vice-Chair for 2007-2008.

The Committee considered the Vale of White Horse Core Strategy Sustainability Appraisal Scoping report.

It was reported that due to the response deadline being before the next meeting of this Committee and that of the monthly meeting of the Council in June, this matter would need to be dealt with under Standing Order 36, delegation of urgent and routine matters.

It was noted that any response to the consultation would be similar, if appropriate, to that given to South Oxfordshire District Council’s scoping report.
