520. SUGGESTED NAME FOR THE TOWN SQUARE

A report was circulated detailing the suggested names for the town square following a consultation in the Dynamo and on the Town Council’s website. The report included all the suggested names and ranked each one in order of popularity.

RESOLVED that the most popular suggestions; Brunel Square, Times Square, Meylan Square, Bond Square, Broadway Square, Junction Square, Station Square, Stonor Square, Tappins Square, Mount Pleasant Square and Cornerstone Square, be included in another article in the Dynamo and on the website for the public to vote on.

521. SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE DESIGN GUIDE REVIEW

A letter from South Oxfordshire District Council along was circulated detailing their plan to update and revise the South Oxfordshire Design Guide. As part of the consultation SODC are seeking the views of key stakeholders such as Didcot Town Council.

RESOLVED that the Design Guide Review consultation be passed to the Major Issues Working Group to respond.
