525. THAMES WATER – UPPER THAMES MAJOR RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT – INVITATION TO COMMENT

It was noted that a draft response was in preparation for consideration at a future meeting of this Committee; in view of the consultation deadline being before the March meeting of the Council it was suggested that delegated authority be sought to respond direct.

RESOLVED that, due to the timescales involved, it is recommended that this Committee be given delegated authority to respond direct to the Upper Thames Major Resource Development consultation.

526. First Great Western-Timetable changes

Didcot Town Council responded to First Great Western’s published train timetable on 15th December 2006, Minute 431 refers.

A press release has since been issued by First Great Western to address concerns raised through the timetable consultation process. Minute 498 (d) refers.

The Committee agreed at its meeting on 17th January 2007 that a further response to the ongoing review of timetable changes should be submitted to First Great Western and seeks delegated authority from Council to respond direct.

RESOLVED that this Committee be given delegated authority to respond direct to First Great Western’s ongoing review of timetable changes.
