Didcot Town Council

Grant Aid

Grant Aid is used to support organisations working for the benefit of the people of Didcot, and also for the Town Council's own arts and entertainment projects.

In Didcot we are fortunate in having a wide variety of community groups and charities which contribute to the life of the town and as a Council are very aware of the hard work done by volunteers to help make our town a better place to live and do our best to provide financial assistance where needed.

Grants are paid for projects and activities which can be shown to benefit Didcot people, but we are unable (by law) to grant aid individuals.

Some of the group’s who have received grant in 2011 include:

o Didcot Arts Forum
o Didcot Ladies Afternoon Group
o Didcot Cricket Club
o Didcot Library
o Didcot Arts and Community Association
o Didcot and District CAB
o King Alfred Drive Community Centre
o Didcot Netball Club
o Didcot Devils Basketball Club
o TRAIN
o Didcot Meylan Twinning Association
o Royal British Legion
