Didcot Dynamo - Didcot Town Council Website

The Didcot Dynamo is the Town Council's newsletter which is published 4 times a year, normally during the last couple of weeks of January, April, July and October, and should be delivered to every household in the parish of Didcot. If ever you do not receive a copy, let us know at council@didcot.gov.uk, telephone 01235 812637 or in person at the Information Centre, as we hold a limited number of spares and will get a copy to you.

As part of the contract for the artwork and publishing of the Dynamo, the publishers have a certain amount of space for advertising and the Town Council have the remainder for council/community reports, news items, articles, forthcoming events, etc.

How to submit an article

If you have an item, article, photo or forthcoming event that you would like to see in the Dynamo, email the details to council@didcot.gov.uk and put Didcot Dynamo in the subject.

Alternatively you may drop the details into the Information Centre at the Council Offices on Britwell Road, telephone 01235 812637. You may even fax the details to 01235 512837. The deadlines are detailed below.

All articles/items must be accompanied by a name and contact details, and the Council reserves the right to alter or amend any articles/items submitted. Please note that space is limited and not all articles/items submitted may be published.

Didcot Dynamo Deadlines

The deadlines for submitting edit, photos, diary dates etc to the Dynamo are as follows:-

4th October 2010 for Autumn/Winter edition
11th January 2011 for Winter/ Spring edition
29th March 2011 for the Spring/Summer edition
28th June 2011 for the Summer/Autumn edition

Advertising in the Didcot Dynamo

The Council allows advertising in the Dynamo to help subsidise the cost. Advertising is handled by Clio Communications who assist the Town Council in producing the Dynamo.

Delivery of the Didcot Dynamo

The delivery of the Didcot Dynamo is currently done by the Royal Mail. Every residence in the parish of Didcot should receive one, approximately 10 thousand homes.
