Didcot Town Council's Public Art Projects
The Delivery Group is still in the early stages of its work. Many possibilities are being considered and the group welcomes input from residents.
A map of potential locations, developed in conjunction with residents, would be used as the basis for future project ideas.
William Bradbery, the first person to grow watercress commercially, was born in Didcot on the 11th July 1776. Celebrating his success with a piece at Ladygrove Lakes, supported by an information board.
An Art Trail highlighting public art installations across the town would be drawn together and published.
Themed street furniture such as bicycle racks, barriers and way-finders, made from recycled materials could be investigated and installed.
