On Monday 11th July, The Mayor attended the First Give Final competition at St Birinus School, Didcot.

The judging panel was made up of Cllr Ian Snowdon, Cllr Pam Siggers, The mayor of Didcot as well as Mr Skae and Mrs Bowers from SBS.

Representatives from some of the local charities were in attendance these included Oxford Gatehouse, Oxford Hospitals, Earth Trust and Didcot Train.

The winning charity on the day was Earth Trust and they received a cheque for £1000 from First Give. The money will be used to safeguard a well loved local wilderness area.

Well done to all the boys in year 9 for taking part in the competition.
