On Tuesday 4th July 2023, The Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Axel Macdonald attend The Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire and the Bishop of Dorchester Evening at Dorchester Abbey which is for all the Mayor's and Chairs of Oxfordshire.

The Mayor got to meet other dignitaries from Oxfordshire.

The evening was well attended and the Mayor and his consort had a wonderful evening.

On Friday 14th July 2023 the Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Axel Macdonald had afternoon tea at the SEE-ABILITY home in East Hagbourne.

The Mayor went along to see what services the charity provides for people with sight issues. Some have full time care and some supported living. It is a wonderful charity that not many people may not of heard of.

The Mayor Cllr Axel Macdonald was invited to attend the local Eid Celebrations at Didcot Civic Hall on Saturday 15th July where he met members of the Muslim community in and around Didcot.

He enjoyed trying food from lots of different countries which was lovely.
