Remembrance Day Parade Road Closures

Didcot Civic Hall car park will be closed from Saturday 13th November evening and all day on Sunday 14th November for the Remembrance Day Service to take place.

Broadway (from Ernest Road to Vicarage Road) will be closed on Sunday 14th November from 2.15pm to approximately 3pm and Britwell Road will be closed from 2.15pm to 330pm.

The Didcot Remembrance Parade will take place on Sunday 14th November 2021, followed by the service which commences at 3pm at Smallbone Recreation Ground.

The parade leaves Edinburgh Drive car park at approximately 2.40pm to march up The Broadway.

Didcot's fisrt 'Green roof' bus shelter

On Saturday 16th October 2021, Didcot Town Council installed the first SEDUM ROOF bus shelter in Didcot.

It is situated on Avon Way/Dagdale Drive and is ready to be used! The plants will help absorb CO2 and release oxygen, while the flowers will be great for bees providing a haven and a welcome food source for many different pollinators along the roadside.
