Blue-green algae can produce toxins that can cause adverse health effects to humans through skin contact, ingestion and inhalation. Livestock and dogs should also be kept away, so please ensure that you keep a close eye on children and dogs when nearby.

The Cockcroft Post Office was closed in May 2017 following the resignation of the Postmaster and the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use.
Unfortunately since the closure, the Post Office has been unable to restore a service, this branch will remain temporarily closed.

In the interests of public safety, it will be necessary for Oxfordshire County Council to close the road as detailed above to facilitate carriageway maintenance works.

Didcot Town Council is inviting tenders for the construction of a new outdoor services depot at Edmonds Park, Didcot.
The contract includes demolition, temporary accommodation and new build.

Reminder of changes to householders of waste collections during the week following the Spring Bank Holiday Monday.
There will be no waste collections on Bank Holiday Monday 28 May. Everyone's bins will then be emptied one day later than usual for the rest of that week.
