Faith in Service

A message from Councillor Mocky Khan, Leader of Didcot Town Council

Happy New Year, I hope that you managed to enjoy a very different Christmas break.

Last year was a very challenging year for all and I hope that 2021 is better, safer and one that allows our lives to return to some resemblance of normality.

I am pleased to announce that Didcot Civic Hall from Wednesday 6th January 2021 will be the centre where covid-19 vaccinations will take place. This is great news as the vaccination will help us win the fight against coronavirus and protect our residents.

First to be vaccinated are those on the priority list. Please do wait to be contacted and only attend if you have an appointment. Please do NOT contact the Civic Hall for advice on the vaccination programme – we are operating with minimal staff and need to keep our phone lines open for Council business.

The vaccination will be a game changer but it will take time to vaccinate all in Didcot so we must still adhere to Tier 4 restrictions and still continue to do the simple things such as hands, face and space to limit the spread of covid-19.

For more information on Tier 4 check: Tier 4: Stay at Home - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Please do keep visiting Didcot Town Council and checking our social media to find where to get advice, help and support and for the latest information.

Please stay safe and I shall update you on a monthly basis on Didcot Town Council news.

Regards,

Cllr Mocky Khan

Leader of Didcot Town Council
