Didcot's fisrt 'Green roof' bus shelter

On Saturday 16th October 2021, Didcot Town Council installed the first SEDUM ROOF bus shelter in Didcot.

It is situated on Avon Way/Dagdale Drive and is ready to be used! The plants will help absorb CO2 and release oxygen, while the flowers will be great for bees providing a haven and a welcome food source for many different pollinators along the roadside.

The sedum plants can also filter fine dust particles and so help to purify the air, cutting pollution levels.
