How to grow your own veg: Online workshop with the Oxford Garden Project

The Oxford Garden Project are running a free online workshop next week on growing your own food.

Learn the basics of growing your own pumpkins, squashes and other veg. Get your gardening and composting questions answered. And have fun!Are you just getting started with growing your own veg this spring? Or have you tried gardening before, and want to polish up your skills to ensure an abundant harvest this year? Even if you're an experienced gardener, maybe you have questions on specific crops or need some tailored composting advice.Our workshop facilitator Robert Longstaff from The Oxford Garden Project will share his decades worth of gardening and composting experience and answer all your questions. From preparing the soil to choosing the right crops and seeds for your space to tips and tricks for making sure your plants grow well and give you an abundant harvest – this interactive zoom workshop will give you a solid foundation for a successful growing season.The workshop is free top attend, but places are limited so make sure to register in time to secure your spot. The zoom link will be sent out to registered participants beforehand.Hosted by Good Food Oxfordshire, Replenish Oxfordshire and the Oxford Garden Project as part of the Good To Grow weekend of community gardening.
