New Ability Swing in Loyd Recreation Ground

Mayor Pam Siggers opens the new Ability Swing, alongside Leader Cllr Mocky Khan, for use by Didcot residents.

Didcot Town Council has recently installed a brand-new Ability Swing in Loyd Recreation ground. This swing enables wheelchair users to use a swing, without the need to leave their chair and is only accessible using a RADAR key.

The swing is the first of its kind in Didcot, and only second one in Oxfordshire.

Users are reminded to read and understand all instructions before use.

This swing was part funded by SODC's Councillor Community Grants, S106 and Community Infrastructure Levy monies and has become a very welcomes addition to the Town Council's inclusive play equipment.

As with all the Town Council's owned/managed Play Parks in Didcot, please do not litter and be aware that dogs are not allowed in the play areas.
