Didcot Civic Hall and Didcot Town Council has pledged to work in partnership with the NHS in any possible way to support their life-saving work during the Covid – 19 pandemic. Didcot Town Council would like to remind everyone that the Skate Park in Ladygrove is closed for public use, as is all outdoor gym equipment and playgrounds.
This is in line with the Government's recommendations and we encourage everyone to adhere to this.

Due to the Government's advice on staying home during the COVID-19 crisis, the Emergency Committee decided to cancel the April 2020 burn dates across ALL of the allotment sites.
Whilst it is still ok to tend to your allotments for exercise and mental wellbeing, please adhere to all the Government's advice on social distancing and hygiene.

After the Didcot Town Council's Covid-19 Crisis Management meeting on Monday 30th March 2020, the updates are as follows:
- DTC and Civic Hall to remain closed until at least 30th April 2020.

After the meeting of the Council's COVID-19 Crisis Management Team, we have decided that Didcot Town Council and Civic Hall will remain CLOSED until 30th April 2020, when we will review the policy based on Government advice and guidelines.

Unfortunately we have taken the decision to postpone the Liiterpick event which was scheduled for Saturday 28th March, due to increasing concerns over the corona virus.
A lot of our volunteers are children and retired adults who are in the top 2 'at risk' categories and as such, we feel that Didcot Town Council has a duty of care to the residents of Didcot and any unnecessary event that can be postponed,... Read More »
