On 23 March 2020 the Government announced: if you're clinically extremely vulnerable, you're strongly advised to stay at home, to protect your health and shield from the coronavirus. This includes organ transplant recipients, people living with cancer (or waiting for treatment) and people with severe respiratory conditions among others.

Didcot Civic Hall and Didcot Town Council has pledged to work in partnership with the NHS in any possible way to support their life-saving work during the Covid – 19 pandemic. Firstly, I must thank everyone for adhering to the Government's advice to stay in and only going out when essential. When I go on my daily walk with my family, I have noticed the roads and pavements are very quiet. If I do see anyone, I see people observing social distancing by crossing the road or moving to one side.

Didcot Town Council would like to remind everyone that the Skate Park in Ladygrove is closed for public use, as is all outdoor gym equipment and playgrounds.
This is in line with the Government's recommendations and we encourage everyone to adhere to this.
