RWE have informed Didcot Town Council that the final controlled demolition of the former Didcot A station will take place on Sunday 9th February 2020 between 7am and 9am.

Didcot Town Council entered a competition to win a chance of having a picture in the WPS Insurance Calendar for 2020.
Local photographer Paul Bodsworth from Didcot, very kindly allowed us to use his spectacular picture of the Didcot Power Station as our entry; which was then chosen as the 'October' entry!

Colin Jones, Chairman of the Didcot Branch of the Royal British Legion will lead the Act of Remembrance and Silence at 11.00am on Monday, 11th November 2019 at the War Memorial, Smallbone Recreation Ground.
This is in addition to the Remembrance Parade on Sunday 10th November 2019.

The Town Council Remembrance Parade will take place on Sunday 10th November 2019, followed by the service which commences at 3pm at Didcot Civic Hall.
The parade leaves Edinburgh Drive car park at approximately 2.30pm to march up The Broadway.
