Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the application process for blue badges, bus passes and parking permits has been changed.

Libraries are currently acting as validation points only, rather than taking full applications in person, and customers now need to book an appointment in advance.

Information regarding the new cycleway on Wantage Road

Information regarding the new cycleway on Wantage Road

In Spring 2021, cycleways along Wantage Road in Didcot will open. The cycleway runs from Foxhall Roundabout, to the hospital and onto Slade Road and Holly Lane.

The cycleways are on both sides of the carriageway (road), this type of cycleway is new to Didcot. The attached leaflet is to give guidance on how the cycleways work and how they will benefit all journeys along Wantage road.

UK national day of reflection to be held on 23 March

UK national day of reflection to be held on 23 March

"A minute's silence and a national doorstep vigil will form part of a day of reflection to mark the anniversary of the UK's first Covid lockdown."

The minutes silence will be at 12noon and the doorstep vigil at 8pm.

It is hoped people will help create a nationwide "beacon of remembrance" on their doorsteps by beaming phones, candles and torches into the night sky at 20:00.
