Didcot Town Council was sad to hear of the passing of former Mayor Colin Daukes.

Colin was a member of Didcot Town Council from 2003 to 2011 and served as Mayor in 2005/6.

His mother had been Mayor of Didcot many years previously. I think this link between mother and son must be unique in the town's history."
