New Orchard Centre Square Name - The Core

Didcot's new town square has been named following a competition run by South Oxfordshire District Council and owners of the Orchard Centre, Hammerson.

The square in the new extension of the Orchard Centre will be known as "The Core" and was chosen by judges from more than 270 entries from local residents.

OCC Temporary Road Closure and Footway closure – Didcot, Cow Lane railway bridge

A request has been received from Amberon for a temporary road closure to apply to the section of road that runs under the Cow Lane railway bridge, Didcot. Survey on the future of sports and leisure in South Oxfordshire until 2033

South Oxfordshire District Council is looking at the future of sports and leisure facilities in the district and wants to hear from the people who use them, now and in the future.

Extra Allotment Burn

Due to the unseasonably wet weather, allotment holders are granted an additional burn period, which will run from 29th May to 11th June inclusive. Please remember to be sensitive to neighbours, and only to burn allotment waste. No imported rubbish please.
