As part of our attempt to fight climate change, Didcot Town Council have signed up for the Terracycle programme.
What is Terracycle?
TerraCycle offers a range of free programmes that are funded by conscientious companies to help recycle products that households find difficult to recycle.
TerraCycle reuses, upcycles and recycles waste instead of incinerating or landfilling it. This moves waste from a linear system to a circular one, allowing it to keep cycling in our economy.
What does this mean for Didcot?
Didcot Town Council have registered as a recycling point for two Terracyle programmes; The Air Home and Laundry Care Recycling Programme and The Carex Programme. This means that once we are able to reopen Didcot Civic Hall, Didcot residents are able to bring in items accepted on these programmes and recycle them in our designated Terracycle bins.
